Stenden meeting u organizes a variety of events: from workshop to tour, from seminar to opening and from reception to symposium.
Throughout the entire process from the planning and organization to the realization of the project, we will be the fixed point of contact for all questions. This is applicable to the client, but also to the suppliers of services and goods. All events and clients require a different approach, in which flexibility and adaptability are of importance.
WWe do not only advice in the logistic organization, but also in the creative process of the project. We bring balance to all components and with that we monitor quality, concept and budget. Because of this, the client will be able to fully focus on the daily work, while we make sure that, with a project team, the event is organized perfectly down to the last detail. We would like to take the entire production and organisation out of your hands. In this, students of Stenden Hotel Management School play an important role as host and project assistant. Learning and working through Real World Learning is the education system of Stenden Hotel Management School and its learning companies. We think it is amazing to let the industry work with students of the University of Applied Sciences on real and inspiring events.
Working together is the key
Stenden meeting u takes care of administrative services, advices, (project)planning, proposing and reserving accommodation and keynote speakers, coordinates the invitation process, website/social media, audio and visual material and entertainment, arranges the progress checks and guards the quality of the event and its aftercare.
This is just an indication of the activities that can be expected. The definitive list will be put together when there is more clarity with regards to the leadership of the project, the organization committee, the programme and the wishes of the client. A mix of talents
Stenden meeting u is a committed team that exists of a group of experienced professional congress organisers with a mix of diverse qualities. With our qualities we will make every event a success. Next to this we have an enthusiastic group of six to seven students that changes every five weeks. They are involved with all duties and projects. They learn from us, but we also from them. A good match!
Joyce
Joyce Heijnen - Joyce is the energetic team leader of Stenden meeting u with the right dose of humour. As a real mood guard and mediator, she is able to improve the cooperation between different parties.
Lillian
Lillian Dekker - Lillian motivates the team with her proactive attitude and work ethos. With her direct and active attitude she works on her projects with accuracy. A personality that is a great addition to the team.

Nadine Kemp - Not a day goes by without Nadine entertaining us with her dry sense of humour. With her down-to-earth attitude as project leader, Nadine is a strong addition to the team.

Anna Roos Koops - With her cheerful and approachable personality, Anna Roos is a great addition to the team. This enthusiastic, adventurous and broadminded project leader is always on the lookout for new and interesting contacts.

After a successful graduation internship as event coordinator at Stenden meeting u, she is now part of our team.

Online Selection day
Sa 25th of June - Every year, we organize a number of online selection days for the Stenden Hotel Management School. During this day, potential new students have an interview with a teacher from Stenden Hotel Management School and a test is conducted
Goodbye Klaas-Wybo
Tu 30th of June - Executive Board member Klaas-Wybo van der Hoek says goodbye to NHL Stenden after many loyal years. A farewell lecture is organized for Klaas-Wybo.
Celebration of the highest point within the building process of the new Stenden Hotel
We 1th of July - The new Stenden Hotel is under construction. The highest point in the construction will be reached on the 1st of July. With a small selection of guests we celebrate and raise the flag.
Online Selection day
Th 2nd of July - Every year, we organize a number of online selection days for the Stenden Hotel Management School. During this day, potential new students have an interview with a teacher from Stenden Hotel Management School and a test is conducted.
Pre-Eurhodip Conference
Th 2nd of July - During this kick-off, the participants will already receive a sighting for Eurhopdip 2020 that will take place from 11th until 15th of November in Leeuwarden. All hotel schools in Europe will come together during this event.
Online student conference Stenden Hotel Management School
Th 10th of July - This online conference is organized for all new students who will start the Stenden Hotel Management School. This feel-good afternoon consists of various hospitality related workshops and live sessions. Additionally, the new school and Leeuwarden as a student city is introduced.
Online Selection day
Tu 18 of august - Every year, we organize a number of online selection days for the Stenden Hotel Management School. During this day, potential new students have an interview with a teacher from Stenden Hotel Management School and a test is conducted.
SSW SHMS
24th of August – 4th of September - This is the (online) introduction week for all the new students who are joining the Stenden Hotel Management School in September 2020. This is an introduction with hospitality-related components and consisting of courses helping to get to know each other, the city Leeuwarden and NHL Stenden university.
Start Academic Year
Mo 31th of august - The celebration of the start of the new school year for all NHL Stenden students.
